Important: Summer 2025 Device Use Policy for all K–12 Students

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Students attending Summer School in 2025 will be required to use their assigned Greenburgh CSD devices. The Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) signed for the 2024–2025 school year will remain in effect through July and August 2025.

Grades K–5:
Devices will be sent to Highview Elementary School for distribution and use during Summer School. After the program ends, devices will be forwarded to the school the student will attend in September 2025.

Grade 6:
NEW – As rising 7th graders, students will be responsible for taking home their assigned Chromebook and charger for use during Summer School. Devices must be brought to school fully charged each day. Starting this fall, students will be expected to bring their device to and from school daily, fully charged and ready for use.

Grades 7–12:
Students must bring their assigned Chromebook home for the summer and bring it to Summer School each day, just as they would during the regular school year. Devices should be charged nightly and will need to be returned in the fall.

Please note: Per the AUP, students are financially responsible for replacing any lost or damaged devices or chargers.

Sincerely,

THE TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT
Greenburgh Central School District
